Most folks will know us - we are Leo and Shirley of ANIMALS  ON  PORCELAIN - a small home-based business located in Jenkins Place, Manurewa, New Zealand.

We have both been involved in the Dog World for more than thirty years. In past times Leo has bred Dobermanns and Dachshunds, was on the Open Show judges panel for several years and served on the SKA commmittee. Also,  President and founding member of the then Southland Hound Association and comittee member of The Whippet Club.

Shirley owned and bred French Bulldogs when the breed was just being established in New Zealand. In her early years she owned and showed German Shepherd Dogs and then moved on to Whippets and has bred several litters. Shirley was Secretary of Southland Kennel Ass'n  for eleven years, Franklin Kennel Ass'n for six years, Secretary of The Whippet Club for twenty two years and still counting and is currently Secretary of the NZKC Auckland Exhibition Centre committee.   

We have also been around the Dog Shows for the last twelve years or so, with our Dog Mugs and other porcelain items decorated with dogs, cats horses and wildlife.

Leo's life long passion has been photography and over the last few years has been able to dedicate himself almost full time to this. Leo specialises in animals and action shots and prides himself in being able to deliver Supa Shots for you.
